As if she weren't busy enough, Cardi B has just booked her first major film role with Hustlers. She's joining an ensemble cast that will include a great deal of A-listers.
In addition to Cardi, Hustlers stars Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart and Julia Stiles. The film follows a group of former strip club employees who take revenge on their Wall Street clients by maxing out their credit cards.
Hustlers is being written and directed by Lorene Scafaria (The Meddler), using a 2015 piece from The Cut as its source material.
"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women," Scafaria said in a statement to Deadline. "We're grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast and can't wait to start filming at the end of the week."
