Cardi B Cancels Indianapolis Show Due to Security Threat
Cardi B was slated to perform at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis last night (July 30), but cancelled the performance less than an hour before it was scheduled to begin.

According to local police, there was an "unverified threat to the artist." They informed the public that there was no immediate threat to public safety and that it was not an active incident.

Promoter Mammoth Live released a statement, which read: "Due to a security threat and safety concerns at this evening's show, management has advised that this show be postponed. These threats are currently under investigation."

Cardi B issued her own statement, telling the people of Indiana, "I'm so sorry for today."

She even explained that she had been rehearsing a new move she wanted to try out last night, but reminded her fans, "My safety and your safety first."

A rescheduled date for the show has not yet been announced.

The threat arrived on the same day that Cardi B revealed that she had sat down to discuss U.S. politics with Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.

Cardi B will be performing in Canada this weekend, headlining VELD Festival in Toronto.
