Have you ever heard of Sound of Ceres? If not, then there's a good chance you've heard of the players' other projects, since the lineup comprises members of Candy Claws, the Apples in Stereo and the Drums. Their debut album is called Nostalgia for Infinity, and it will be out later this year.
The band's materials list Karen Hover and Ryan Hover of Candy Claws as primary members, while Robert Schneider, John Ferguson and Ben Phelan of the Apples in Stereo are credited as "recording members." Pitchfork additionally reports that Jacob Graham of the Drums is involved with the project.
Nostalgia for Infinity doesn't have a firm release date just yet, but the tracklist can be seen below. At the bottom of the page, watch a video for the woozy psych cut "Bryn Marina." The clip was directed by David Jude Harris and shows time-lapse footage of those toys that grow when you put them in water.
A couple of other album tracks were previously released as singles on Bandcamp, and those are streaming below also.
