While so many groups this time of year are busy tinkling in the realm of Christmas pop songs, Toronto-based metal/hardcore outfit Cancer Bats have just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming album Dead Set on Living, which couldn't be any more opposite.
The short video, which can be viewed below, shows the guys in-studio prepping the album with some pretty fancy gear. Displaying little appreciation for the pre-packaged Christmas sound, the video is accompanied by a sample of an extremely heavy but still melodic track still in the works.

So far Dead Set on Living has yet to receive a firm release date, but expect the record to drop sometime early next year.
