Calgary's Chasing Summer Festival Brings Out Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Zeds Dead

Summer festival season is fast approaching, and Albertan EDM fans looking for a full weekend fix of DJs and electronic artists will be getting just that via the annual Chasing Summer event. Organizers behind the fest have announced the lineup details for this year's instalment, confirming Martin Garrix and Hardwell as headliners.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome two of the world's top 3 ranked DJs to Chasing Summer 2016," festival producer Harvey Cohen said in a statement.

Now in its fourth year, Chasing Summer takes place July 30 and 31 at Calgary's Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds. The 2016 edition will be the first Calgary-area performance for Dutch headliner Garrix.

In addition to the headliners, the weekend will include sets from Zeds Dead, Chainsmokers, Galantis, Marshmello, Don Diablo, Netsky, Jauz, Seven Lions, Andrew Bayer, Cookie Monsta vs FuntCase, Kyau & Albert, Moti, Gabriel & Dresden, Hunter Siegel, Party Favor, Zaxx, Grum, CID, Sleepy Tom, Genix, Rezz, and Unlike Pluto.

Early bird passes have already come and gone, but regular admission tickets go on sale this Wednesday (April 13). A general admission pass will run you $139.95, plus service charges, while the various VIP packages, which offer private bar service and priority access to the "autograph tent," start at $189.95 .
