Along with the sprouting leaves and warmer weather, another way we can tell spring is here is the steady stream of festival announcements. The latest to chime in with their offering for 2011 are the organizers at the Calgary Folk Music Festival, who have revealed quite the list of performers for the event, which takes place from July 21 to 24.
While the full lineup is available here, some highlights of the fest include Bonnie "Prince" Billy, k.d. lang, Patrick Watson, Braids, Herbaliser, Joel Plaskett, Cadence Weapon, Lightning Dust, Blue Rodeo, Buffy Saint-Marie and City and Colour, just to name a few.
Tickets for the festival go on sale today (April 28) and can be purchased here at a special early bird rate until June 1.
