Calgary Folk Music Festival Announces Line-Up Featuring Stars, St. Vincent, the Swell Season, Konono N°1

Attention, Calgary music lovers. The Calgary Folk Music Festival has finally announced the long-awaited line-up for the 2010 edition of the musical celebration.

The festival, which runs from July 22 to July 25 at Prince's Island Park, includes a line-up that boasts 68 different groups from 14 countries playing on seven different stages.

The festival's marquee artists for this year include the Avett Brothers, Stars, the Swell Season, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Corb Lund, the Cat Empire, Roberta Flack and St. Vincent. And just to bombard you with even more artist names, also making their way to Cowtown are Konono N°1, Joe Henry, Man Man, Dan Mangan, Ohbijou and Timber Timbre.

Along with all the music, the festival will include "an interactive family area, an international craft market, global culinary delights, a record tent and tree-shaded beer garden," according to a press release.
