In case you forgot, Calexico's Algiers is coming up fast. In fact, the record is due out Tuesday (September 11) via Anti-, but to get you extra pumped about the release, the Americana vets have shared not only an album stream of the record, but a new video for album track "Splitter."
While you can stream all of Algiers over here on Facebook, you can see the video below. Despite the clip being without a carefully sculpted mountain of mashed spuds, it very much comes with a Close Encounters of the Third Kind vibe, though not in some creepy, probe-y sort of way.
