Céline Dion Postpones More Montreal Concerts Due to Illness

This follows a previous postponement of four other Montreal dates

Céline Dion has now postponed the remaining Montreal concerts on her "Courage World Tour."

The shows — set to take place on Friday (October 4) and Saturday (October 5) — have now been pushed back until February 18 and February 19, respectively.

The news follows Dion postponing her other four Montreal concerts at the Bell Centre on September 26, 27, 30 and October 1 until November. Like with those previously postponed shows, Dion has pushed back the upcoming Montreal dates this weekend due to her ongoing issues with a throat virus.

Recovering in Montreal, Dion filmed a short video of apology for her fans today. In the message, Dion says, "For me, it's a lot harder to postpone a show than to do a show and I'm so sorry for disappointing you. We got off to such a great start in Quebec and I was really looking forward to Montreal. When I perform for you I always want to give you everything I've got. Sorry again Montreal and thank you for believing in me."

Ticketholders affected by the postponement will automatically have their tickets be valid at the rescheduled dates in February.

You can see Dion's updated tour schedule below.

Her new album Courage is due out on November 15 via Columbia Records.
