Céline Dion has just called off multiple Montreal dates on her "Courage World Tour," postponing a series of four concerts in the city due to illness.
The concerts include the Bell Centre dates on September 26, 27, 30 and October 1, which have now been rescheduled for November 18, 19, 21 and 22, respectively.
A press release states: "After two weeks of rehearsals and wonderful opening run of shows in Quebec, we are sorry to report that Celine is experiencing a throat virus, and must postpone four performances of her 'Courage World Tour.'"
It continues: "Céline is on strict doctors' orders to take one week of rest to fully recover and is expected to resume performances at the Bell Centre on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 as initially scheduled."
Those ticketholders affected will automatically have their tickets be valid at the rescheduled dates. This means the September 26 tickets are now valid for November 18, the September 27 tickets are now valid for November 19, the September 30 tickets are now valid for November 21, and the October 1 tickets are now valid for November 22
"Ticketholders should keep their original tickets for entry valid only for the performance schedule as listed above," the press release states.
