The Buzzcocks Plot Canada-Friendly Trek Across North America

BY Stephen CarlickPublished Apr 2, 2010

Fresh on the heels of releasing expanded reissues of their first three studio albums, punk rock legends the Buzzcocks have lined up a thorough North American tour that hits several Canadian cities.

The tour, which starts May 11 in Washington, D.C., will go through May into the start of June, with more dates in the works. So far, there are Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.

A small blurb on the band's official website states that the group will play two of their recently reissued trio of classic LPs, Another Music In A Different Kitchen and Love Bites, in their entirety at the shows, plus "other hits." The third album of that trio was 1979's A Different Kind of Tension, which we're guessing may be featured live in some sort of capacity. .

Exclaim! recently reviewed the three reissues here.
