Published Mar 12, 2013Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is now in its 14th year, and it will return once again in 2014 for another instalment. This year's event takes place on August 10, and the organizers have confirmed this year's performers.
As usual, the festival will be held at Deer Lake Park just outside Vancouver in the city of Burnaby. Among the musicians on the bill this year are Blue Rodeo, Charles Bradley, ZZ Ward, Shakura S'Aida, David Gogo, Ndidi Onukwulu, Jon and Roy, the Sojourners, Vince Vaccaro, John Lee Sanders, Brickhouse, and Shaun Verreault. These acts are spread across three stages in the park.
Tickets are on sale now. Early bird tickets cost $65 each or $180 for a four-pack until July 1. After that, the prices rise to $70 a pop or $200 for a four-pack. If you wait until the day of, tickets are $75.
