Published Apr 09, 2015The Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival will be turning sweet 16 this year, and the annual event will celebrate in the usual manner: with a day full of musical performances. The 2015 edition will take place on August 8 at Deer Lake Park, just outside of Vancouver in Burnaby, BC.
This year's performers include the Sheepdogs, the Devin Cuddy Band, Lee Fields & the Expressions, Jim Byrnes & the Sojourners, Ruthie Foster, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha-Cha's, Eagle Rock Gospel Singers, Terra Lightfoot, Sibel Thraser, Harpdog Brown, Jesse Roper and Colleen Rennison.
A press release promises "amazing music in a picturesque, family-friendly environment." Tickets go on sale next Tuesday (April 14) and cost $45 for an early bird ticket. Starting June 2, the cost will go up to $60 a pop. This will rise to $75 on the day of the show. Reduced-price four-packs of tickets are also available.
