As the summer festival season winds down, the organizers for Burlington, ON's Burly Calling have revealed plans for their late-in-the-year event. Of the many artists attached thus far, it's been confirmed that Fucked Up, Teenage Head and recent Fat Wreck Chords signees the Dirty Nil will be popping by from December 4 to 8.

As in years past, the eighth instalment of Burly Calling will find dozens of acts spread out between various venues around Burlington. While artist reveals will be rolled out until December, thus far the roster also includes the likes of the Almostly Trigger Happy, Dead Tired, Say Yes, the Penske File, Bring Me the Author, Dead Point, the Video Dead, the Strangers, Aitch, the Killin' Time Band, Catapult, Dead Broke, Bombing Neverland, the Ballroom Babies, Rules, Organ Thieves, the Monarch Project, Them Thieves and Adelleda.

"With the first wave of artist announcements, we wanted to show the caliber of headliners we have been working hard to bring to our little festival, as well as our commitment to the local music community…without giving away our biggest announcements," Burly Calling co-founder Benjamin Rispin said in a statement. "We also plan to celebrate the last 30 plus years of independent music in our area by building showcases that celebrate veterans and newcomers alike."

Ticketing info has not yet arrived but is presumably on the way, along with forthcoming artist announcements.
