Burlington's Sound of Music Festival Reveals 2014 Lineup with the Sheepdogs, Sloan, Gord Downie & the Sadies

Burlington, ON's Sound of Music Festival bills itself as "Canada's largest free music festival," and the organizers have now announced the artists who will be performing at this year's event.

This free-of-charge gig is spread across five days: it will start on June 7, and this will be following by four consecutive days from June 12 to 15.

The diverse roster of acts include the Sheepdogs, Sloan, Gord Downie & the Sadies, Classified, Monster Truck, Colin James, Trooper, Maestro Fresh Wes, Fred Penner, Kira Isabella, Jason Blaine, Kim Mitchell, Lou Gramm (of Foreigner), Carole Pope (of Rough Trade), Young Rival, Scarlett Jane, the Glorious Sons, Chilliwack and Ashley MacIsaac.

This is the festival's 35th year. All told, it will feature 100 performers across multiple stages. There is also a festival parade with marching bands, a street festival, family zone, carnival and more.

While the festival is free, there are paid Sweet Seat tickers that offer VIP amenities and special seating. They are available here.
