Sound of Music Festival is once again set to descend on Burlington, ON, this year, and once again, things will get going with a big kickoff show. Following some teases, organizers revealed the full kickoff lineup this morning.

On June 8, Sound of Music will get the likes of Live, Bush, Headstones and Monster Truck for the concert. They will join Crown Lands, Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion and the Castor Troys.

In a statement, the fest said, "With these last additions, it really drives home the show with some great local talent. The Castor Troys are doing big things, and we are pumped that Monster Truck is playing their first real local show in a long time, right here at Sound of Music Festival. Rock fans, it doesn't get much better than this!"

The one day kick-off concert takes place five days before Sound of Music proper, which runs from June 13 to 16. As always, the fest is free of charge.

So far, the lineup details for the full festival have yet to be revealed, but you can get ticket info for the kickoff show here.
