Published Nov 22, 2012Burly Calling started up in 2007 as a fundraising "joke tour" around Saint Alvia's hometown of Burlington, ON, but the event has blossomed over the years into a full-fledged festival hosting several shows around the city. It's perhaps a given that Saint Alvia will play this year's pub-crawl, which runs December 6 to 9, but there will also be performances from the likes of Monster Truck, Grade, Silverstein and more.
Other acts appearing on the schedule include Walk Off the Earth, the Wooden Sky, the Reason, the Spicolis, Teenage Kicks, Organ Thieves, the Dirty Nil, the Snips, This Is the Noise, Dodger, Jeremy Chambers, and the Video Dead.
You can see the show schedule, which finds band performing at local joints like the Boston Manor, the Queenshead, the Rude Native, Joe Dogs, the Dickens and the Ron Edwards YMCA, over here.
Info on all-access wristbands is still pending, but you can nab individual tickets for the concerts through TicketScene and at local stores. You can get more info over here.
