Burial Returns with First New Single in Four Years

Well, here's a pleasant surprise. This morning (March 23), long-dormant dubstepper Burial revealed he's returning with a new twelve-inch single. Including the new tracks "Street Halo," "Stolen Dog" and the 20-minute "NYC," it will mark the UK producer's first single in four years and follows his wildly praised 2007 full-length Untrue.

As usual, Hyperdub will release the single, with March 28 serving as the release date. You can pre-order it now at such UK retailers as Boomkat, Bleep and Rough Trade.

Hyperdub owner Kode9 has promised to premiere some of Burial's new single tonight on BBC Radio 1, so we're guessing a radio rip will be just around the corner.

As previously reported, this isn't the only new Burial-related release, as he teamed up with Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Four Tet for a new twelve-inch last week.
