Burial and Massive Attack Unveil Collaborative 12-Inch

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 10, 2011

Way back in 2009, electronic music fans were tantalized by the news that trip-hop veterans Massive Attack were working with dubstep producer Burial on a project with "no timeframe." This month, we're finally going to receive the fruits of that collaboration.

Next Monday (October 17), the Vinyl Factory/Inhale Gold will release a twelve-inch record credited to "Massive Attack vs Burial." This record includes two songs: the brand new title track, plus a remix of "Paradise Circus" from Massive Attack's 2010 album Heligoland. Both tracks are around 12 minutes long. You can stream the chilling "Four Walls" at the bottom of this page.

Four Walls has been pressed on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl in a limited edition of 1000, with each copy hand-numbered and screen printed using gold glitter (see above). The artwork was designed by Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja (aka 3D).
