The Bunny The Bear

Stories

Someone really should give the Bunny the Bear the memo about quality over quantity. Stories is the band's fourth album in as many years, following The Stomach For It (which I didn't have), If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say (I didn't) and a self-titled offering. Unfortunately, more time might not do much to save this awful mash-up of club tunes with the occasional scream and breakdown, presumably to justify their signing to Victory. However, the time could give them a chance to reflect on their actions and maybe smarten up. It's like when your parents made you sit in the corner to "think about what you did," but what they've been doing has been going on for half-a-decade now. Ultimately, the Bunny the Bear would be better off dropping the "heavy" parts and dropping beats in clubs. Just, please, hop away from whatever pseudo-heavy music scene you think you're a part of.
