November is upon us and the winter season is just around the corner, so there's no better time to start your hibernation indoors than with a few good movies. Luckily, Exclaim! is here with our weekly round-up of all the latest DVD reviews to help make your time bundled up at home a little more enjoyable.

For those looking to take in the concert experience without leaving the house, make sure you check out the Exclaim!-recommended Leonard Cohen & His Army: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970. Available for the first time on DVD or Blu-Ray, the film showcases the poet in one of his most famed concerts. Another Exclaim! music pick is The Story of Roxy Music: More Than This, which takes a look at the rise of Roxy Music and the glam rock genre.

The big Hollywood blockbuster out this week is The Taking of Pelham 123, starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Though, if you're still not over the Halloween bug, make sure you check out the creepy little kid in Orphan.

Also packing plenty of special features is the new addition of Easy Rider, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. However, The Narrows fails to deliver anything memorable with its low-key look at the mob.

Finally, we have the family-friendly Monsters Vs. Aliens, the latest animated offering from Dreamworks. Though the second instalment of G.I. Joe -€“ Season 1.2 may be more up your alley if you're looking to relive your childhood.

All of these and more can be found in our Recently Reviewed section right here at Exclaim.ca.
