Bullet For My Valentine's Songs To Become Comic Book

BY Dave SynyardPublished Jan 22, 2008

In support of their new sophomore release, Scream Aim Fire (out January 29), Bullet For My Valentine are adding a mini-comic book for each of the 11 tracks done by indie comic book writer and illustrator Tom Manning.

Each comic book will vary between three to five pages and are inspired from the lyrics of the songs. The series will begin with "Scream Aim Fire," "Waking The Demon" and "Hearts Burst Into Fire," which will be available on January 29 in the PDF booklet of the iTunes deluxe version of the album. All 11 books will be available online for viewing on a micro-site found at safthecomics.com. A free PDF download of "Scream Aim Fire" will be accessible for fans when they sign up for the band's mailing list at safthecomics.com/freedownload.

To add a mixed media edge to this conceptual promotion, each comic book/song has a 15-second animated trailer to accompany it. The title track trailer can be viewed below or on their MySpace page.
