As we previously told you, Pacific Northwest indie rock masterminds Built to Spill are just about finished their upcoming seventh record. Titled There Is No Enemy, the record is due out sometime in October via their longtime un-indie home of Warner.
To celebrate, the band have announced an insane 50-date North American tour that kicks off in Troutdale, OR, on August 20. From there, the tour hovers around California for some time before branching out to the rest of the U.S.. Then, the tour makes its first Canadian stop with a double header of performances at Lee's Palace in Toronto on October 6 and 7.
From there, the band will head south again, exploring their great land before surfacing in Canada again for a show at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on November 18.
After spending this long in a tour bus together, we'll see if Built to Spill can still say There Is No Enemy.
