The Bug only just released his Angels & Devils full-length, but the UK beatmaker already has a new EP on the way in the form of Exit. This will drop on October 7 via Ninja Tune.
The six cuts that make up Exit were culled from more than 160 tracks that the Bug recorded for Angels & Devils. Much of this material was left off the full-length to preserve the album's cohesiveness, which is why some of the extras are being released now.
While this is being billed as an EP, its six tracks are split across two records. Like the full-length, these are divided into separate halves of Angels and Devils. Full-length cut "Function" re-emerges here in an expanded form that takes up a full vinyl side.
Exit also features a couple of tracks with Grouper's Liz Harris. See the tracklist below, and hear the Harris-assisted "Black Wasp" at the bottom of the page.
