Songwriter Buckman Coe hails from Vancouver, but his dusty, blues-tinged folk tunes allude to something much further south. Soon, audiences across Canada will get a taste of the West Coast troubadour's Americana sound of when he hits the road in support of his sophomore LP, By the Mountain's Feet.
The album drops tomorrow (March 20) through Tonic Records/Fontana North. According to a press release, the 11-song collection offers "soft melodies and robust, soothing vocals." And while he may be sometimes compared to Ben Harper, Coe is said to be "a lot more than the sum of his influences."
