Bryan Ferry Plans His Version of Groove Armada Collaboration for New Solo LP
Roxy Music front-man Bryan Ferry recently teamed up with British electro duo Groove Armada to provide vocals for "Shameless," a song that appeared on the duo's latest album, Black Light. Now, Ferry is planning to rework the song on his guest-filled new solo album.

While the new Ferry record is currently untitled, his version of the track will be called "Shameless (Rock 'n Roll Desire)." As previously reported, Ferry has also lined up collaborations with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea and Nile Rodgers for the new record, which is due out in September.

Along with the new solo LP, Ferry's continual love of dance music will also result in a performance at Ibiza this summer, where he'll open Pete Tong's Wonderland night.

"Ibiza is an island full of surprises and I imagine me playing there must be one of them," Ferry said in a press release. "However, I have been a big fan of various kinds of dance music for a very long time, and my first visit to Ibiza was more than 30 years ago, so I feel fairly qualified and very enthusiastic about performing there."

Along with Ferry's solo stop, Roxy Music are playing a handful of festival dates this summer. You can see what's currently lined up here, as well as check out a recent Roxy Music remix EP, which features Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas reworking "Avalon," as well as three more tracks.
