Bruce Springsteen recently released his new album Western Stars, and now the Boss is turning it into a film.
Springsteen made the reveal while on Sirius XM's E Street Radio channel.
"We made a film of us playing the Western Stars album start to finish, plus some other things," he revealed. "I knew we weren't going to tour, so I figured this was the best way to do it."
Springsteen added, "[The film] is looking good — that will be exciting. It will be out in the calendar year."
He went on to confirm the Western Stars film was directed by Thom Zimny, who helmed Springsteen on Broadway and 2014's Bruce Springsteen: Hunter of Invisible Game.
So far, that's all we know about the Western Stars movie, but don't be surprised if it pops up on Netflix sometime soon. After all, that's what happened with Springsteen on Broadway.
