The shock passing of Prince last week has led to numerous tributes coming from within the music world. Also sending out his love and respect for the Artist was Bruce Springsteen, who saluted Prince in Brooklyn over the weekend with a live performance of "Purple Rain." Performed at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Saturday (April 23), the E Street Band's take on the classic cut has leader Springsteen's familiar, throaty cry subbing for Prince's, but still plays out quite faithful. It's a performance of an already ultra-emotional tune, which comes bittersweet following the death of a music legend.
