Toronto's Bruce Peninsula have returned with details of a new full-length album. The trio will deliver the record No Earthly Sound on April 17.

No Earthly Sound finds the trio of Misha Bower, Matthew Cully and Neil Haverty traversing "the peaks and valleys of living" across the album's 10 tracks, exploring themes of connection, imagination, mortality and hope.

A whopping 23 collaborators join the three songwriters on the album, including members of the Weather Station, Snowblink, Twin Within, I Am Robot & Proud, Jennifer Castle's Angels of Death, Ivy Mairi, Kari Peddle, Isla Craig and more.

No Earthly Sound also features string arrangements from Mika Posen (Agnes Obel, Timber Timbre) and finds the band teaming up with producer/engineer Leon Taheny (Final Fantasy, Fucked Up).

The first single to arrive from the album is "Make a Sound," on which Bower both reflects on the theme of infidelity and calls out a lover on their deceit. You can hear the song down below or over here.

While tour plans for Canadian artists continue to be cancelled or postponed amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Bruce Peninsula are aiming to tour Ontario in July.

Bruce Peninsula's most recent studio effort was 2012's Open Flames
