With all due respect to past lineups, 2010 is without a doubt the biggest and best edition yet of Cumberland, BC's the Big Time Out festival. As if K'naan wasn't a big enough draw, this year's festival will also boast sets by the likes of Exclaim! faves Broken Social Scene, Winter Gloves, Hannah Georgas and Ohbijou, among others.
The Big Time Out will run August 14 and 15 on Vancouver Island. Besides those listed above, confirmed acts for the festival include the Acorn, Ruby Jean & the Thoughtful Bees, Vitaminsforyou, Mutaytor, Shamik, Humans, Tambura Rasa and Luzna Orchestra.
Tickets are currently available now for $50 a day, or $90 for a two-day pass. Come August 2, the price will go up $12.50 a day and nearly $20 for the weekend pass, so get your tickets from any of the locations listed at the official festival site here.
