Published Jul 03, 2017Canadian indie rock collective Broken Social Scene have officially gotten the gang back together, prepping their first new album since 2010's Forgiveness Rock Record. We've been anticipating Hug of Thunder for a while, and now the wait is over with a new album stream.
The 12-song release is a return to form for Kevin Drew and co., offering the intense, joyous and musically dense tunes that only Broken Social Scene can create.
Hug of Thunder is out on July 7 via Arts & Crafts/City Slang but you can stream the whole thing now at NPR. Check out the band's upcoming tour dates here.
