Not only do Broken Bells have an album called After the Disco coming out in January through Columbia Records, they are preparing to release a short film of the same name. The duo of James Mercer and Danger Mouse have now shared the first part of the film.
Produced by the Creators Project and directed by Jacob Gentry, the first chapter of the flick is called "Angel and the Fool." It shows a man falling asleep in front of the tube before entering an alien landscape and encountering a woman in some sort of space suit. The whole thing is soundtracked by twinkling, futuristic music from Broken Bells, and stars Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) and Kate Mara (House of Cards).
The clip ends with a few shots from the forthcoming part of the film, which looks to feature Mercer and Danger Mouse in acting roles.
