Brockhampton rapper Kevin Abstract just released a new album called ARIZONA BABY, and he's promoting it in a rather unique way: he's spending 10 hours on a treadmill outside of his childhood home.
He's from Brockhampton Street in Corpus Christi, TX, which is where he has the treadmill set up. Naturally, he's live-streaming the whole thing on Brockhampton's YouTube channel, where the stunt is being referred to as #THE1999. He announced the whole thing on Instagram.
As of press time, Kevin Abstract is walking steadily on the treadmill while surrounded by fans asking for photos and autographs (which he is graciously agreeing to). All in all, it seems like a lot of fun for Brockhampton fans, and rather disruptive for residents of the suburban-looking Brockhampton Street.
