The British Columbians Roll Out Canadian Tour Dates

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 5, 2012

Last August, brawny folk- and blues-influenced rockers the British Columbians celebrated their namesake province by when they released their sophomore set Made for Darker Things on British Columbia Day, but the troupe will toast even more of Canada on their upcoming spring tour.

The act will head out for a handful of gigs in Ontario this March, with a concert in Wakefield, QC thrown in for good measure. The trip is booked around the outfit's appearance at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, where they'll play the Rivoli on March 23 as part of a Music BC showcase, along with Acres of Lions and Current Swell.

"We're really excited to get out to Ontario in March, supporting some killer bands and finally playing again for the great friends and fans we've made out there," British Columbians guitarist/drummer Dave Moran said in a statement. "We really couldn't be happier with things right now."

Fans on the West Coast, meanwhile, have one British Columbians show to look forward to. The band will open for the Sheepdogs on April 22 at Whistler's Skiers Plaza. You can check out the complete schedule down below.
