Expect hoodie sales to skyrocket early this fall when hardcore rockers Every Time I Die and UK "deathcore" merchants Bring Me the Horizon co-headline the annual Epitaph Tour in September and October. The tour will include two shows in Canada: one in Montreal October 8 and another in Toronto October 9.
Buffalo, NY's Every Time I Die are a perfect choice for the showcase, as they are recent Epitaph Records signees, after releasing three albums on Ferret Music. Their new album, New Junk Aesthetic, their first for the premier punk label, is finished and due out September 15.
Meanwhile, Bring Me the Horizon signed an Epitaph licensing deal for the U.S. last year and had their second album, Suicide Season, re-released by the label. Hopefully, their singer, Ollie Sykes, will stay out of trouble during the North American shows.
Support on the tour will come from Christian metal guys Oh, Sleeper and Bring Me the Horizon's UK archrivals Architects. Strangely, neither of these bands are on Epitaph. But, hey, let's still call it the Epitaph Tour.
