Composer extraordinaire Brian Eno is seemingly never not working, meaning he's amassed a truly impressive body of work over the years. Some of his filmic offerings will soon be available on a compilation album.
Film Music 1976 - 2020 is a sequel of sorts to Eno's Music for Films compilation, which was released in 1978. The new compilation includes music Eno recorded for films like Trainspotting, Rams, Heat, David Lynch's Dune and For All Mankind, among others.
Proving he's willing to open up his interpretation of the word "film," the compilation also includes music he composed for two seasons of the show Top Boy.
Film Music will arrive digitally on November 13 via Universal. On that same day, a double vinyl and CD release will arrive in the U.K., though those physical formats won't be available in North America until January 22,
