Once again, prolific BC beatmaker Jonny Dylan Hughes is back with another collection of electronic tunes. While some recent releases have come out under his given name, or under the initials JDH, this one is out with his less pop-friendly (read: instrumental and largely ambient) project Branches. Entitled Wisdom, you can stream the record now online.
Wisdom contains just two tracks, each of which is more than 20 minutes long. In a statement, Hughes wrote that the theme of wisdom is "explored through ambient passages, synthesizer build-ups and sparse percussive elements." It was recorded in his bedroom outside of Vancouver.
