There's no shortage of shows coming up for Montreal-based experimental pop quartet Braids this summer, what with the troupe hitting up Sled Island, Osheaga, the Calgary Folk Fest and more. Even so, the hardworking act will keep the marathon promotion cycle rolling for their debut disc, Native Speaker, via a headlining tour this fall.
Following their summer fest schedule and a brief European trip, the band will kick off a North American trip in New York this September. From there, they will make their way through the Prairies before hitting up Vancouver for the upcoming Olio Festival. Braids will then dip back into the U.S. before swinging back to Canada's eastern half, ending up as far as Fredericton, NB.
Accompanying the act will be psychedelic, L.A.-based analog synth junkies, and U.S. labelmates, Peppered Rabbit. You can check out the details below.
