Millennial pop experimenters Braids kicked off the year with the release of their Deep in the Iris LP, and now they've treated its "Miniskirt" single to a new video.
The clip was directed by Kevan Funk and adds some metaphorical depth to the song's straightforward lyricism. Here, frontwoman Raphaelle Standell-Preston is trapped in a glass cage of emotion as she delivers the lyrics from a greenhouse. Conversely, she also plays another woman who is able to freely dance outside.
