A Forlorn Hope

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished May 1, 2005

Already heroes at home in Japan, Brahman have spent the last ten years winning over listeners with their catchy alterna-punk ways. A Forlorn Hope was released in Japan back in 2001; Revelation Records has now brought this gem overseas. Short, riff-laden punk ditties are the standard, with songs translated into English so it’s easier to sing along. With so much melody compacted into about a minute each song, this album is quite hard to resist. For fans of the Vandals, Less Than Jake and even New Found Glory.
