Charlottetown, PEI's Boxer the Horse have just released a new Christmas track called "Material Xmas," a lo-fi tune that finds singer Jeremy Gaudet declaring, "This December 25th, I'm not giving any gifts!"
Along with those Scrooge-y sentiments, this fine seasonal offering comes with a thick wash of reverb, some crunchy guitars and even some sleigh bells. Check it out in the player below.
Along with the new track, Boxer the Horse are currently finishing up work on their as-yet-untitled sophomore album, which is due out in 2012.
