Born Ruffians Opening For Franz Ferdinand Tonight in Toronto

BY Cam LindsayPublished Dec 4, 2008

That tonight's Franz Ferdinand show in Toronto at Lee's Palace is completely, 100 percent sold out is not a secret - the gig was reportedly ticket-less within seconds of going on sale, we hear. However, the support act was unconfirmed until just recently. The relatively early gig will begin with local boys Born Ruffians playing the best bits of this year's breakthrough debut album, Red Yellow and Blue, and perhaps even giving us a sneak peek at some new material they'll begin recording early in the new year.

And just so you don't miss either band, Born Ruffians are set to open the proceedings at 9:00 p.m., followed by Franz Ferdinand at 10:00 p.m.
