Published Sep 11, 2009Infinitely interesting Japanese metal weirdoes Boris have announced that they'll be dropping three brand new seven-inches before the end of 2009. The series is called Japanese Heavy Rock Hits and will be coming to fans via the band's label home at Southern Lord.
Boris will release the first of their three seven-inches this month, with records to follow in October and November. While there are no numbers provided for the quantities being pressed, it's a safe bet that these puppies will sell out quickly.
Fortunately, Southern Lord are offering a unique pre-order model, where fans can get all three records, as well as a bonus T-shirt and fourth seven-inch that are otherwise unavailable. The full details for that package have yet to be posted, so keep your eyes peeled on the Southern Lord blog.
Boris will also be making their only North American appearance at this year's All Tomorrow's Parties in New York. The show, which takes place on Sunday (September 13), will see the band perform their Feedbacker album in its entirety.
