Bono is going on tour — although not with U2. Rather, he's touring touring in support of his new memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.

Although this is a book tour, it's not simply a reading, since it does appear to include musical performances. The tour is called Stories of Surrender, and Bono said in a statement, "I miss being on stage and the closeness of U2's audience. In these shows I've got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell… Plus I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, Surrender, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here."

Throughout November, Bono will make 14 tour stops, including one in Canada: Toronto's Meridian Hall on November 6. Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 7) at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. Each ticket includes a copy of the book.
