Years on from sharing their acclaimed EP Broughtupsy, Toronto duo Bonjay have lifted the curtain on their debut full-length.

Titled Lush Life, the album is set to arrive May 25 through the duo's own Mysteries of Trade imprint. As the duo note, the album is a commentary on "the way we live in cities today."

Lush Life was written in Berlin, recorded and arranged in Toronto, mixed in Hamilton, and rounded out with additional mixing in Beenie Man's studio in Kingston, Jamaica. Joining Alanna Stuart and Ian Swain on the LP are Thom Gill (Owen Pallett, Bernice), Maylee Todd, Allie X, Felicity Williams (Bahamas, Bernice), Carleigh Aikins and Kieran Adams.

A press release notes that additional engineering comes courtesy of Jeremy Greenspan (Junior Boys), Sandro Perri, Alphonse Lanza (Azari and III) and Ian McGettigan (Thrush Hermit, Camouflage Nights).

Alongside the announcement, the duo have shared new single "Chelsea," which was written after binge-watching Kate Bush videos after a night at Berlin's Berghain nightclub. You can hear it in the player below.
