Bonde Do Role Return with Diplo-produced New Album, Get Das Racist, Caetano Veloso, the Death Set to Guest

It's been a while since we heard from baile funk-inspired Brazilian electro pop troupe Bonde Do Role, but the group will finally be following up their 2007 album With Lasers later this year with the Diplo-produced Tropicalbacanal.

The record arrives June 26 through Diplo's Mad Decent label, and also features production assistance from Filip Nikolic, British producer Mumdance and Munich's Schlachthofbronx.

Since last we heard from Bonde Do Role, the group have trimmed themselves down from a quartet to a trio, having since shedded then-added vocalist Ana Bernardino. Bonde Do Role, however, have a number of vocal guests pop up on Tropicalbacanal, including rappers Das Racist, Tropicália legend Caetano Veloso, Cecile, Rizzle Kicks and the Death Set.

You can get a sample of Tropicalbacanal down below via the bizarre, Wild West-tinged video for new single "Kilo." If ever you wanted to see the band spin turntables made out of a pineapple, or see a cowboy hat-sporting Diplo shoot cream and pizza slices at girls wearing fruit bikinis, your prayers have finally been answered.
