Well, mystery solved. After James Blake hinted last week at some sort of collaboration with Bon Iver, the pair have revealed that they will roll out a collaborative track called "Fall Creek Boys Choir" later today (August 24).
The song will be broadcasted on the UK's BBC Radio 1 at 7:30 p.m. local time, meaning 2:30 p.m. EST. It will be available here on YouTube after the song plays, which should be about anytime now.
UPDATE: You can now listen to "Fall Creek Boys Choir" below. It will also be released via iTunes on August 29.
A press release explains that Blake and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon collaborated on the song this spring via email. The PR also had this to say about "Fall Creek Boys Choir": "Over the past year James has cited Justin as a key influence and it was via a chance meeting at this years SXSW festival in Austin, Texas that the seed was sown for a future collaboration."
Thanks to Pitchfork for the heads-up.
