Bon Iver give Blood… Bank

Bon Iver give Blood… Bank
Following a bit of moonlighting with Rosebuds and Land of Talk, not to mention dropping the 2008 best-of shoe-in For Emma, Forever Ago, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon is now lining up some new sounds. Via Jagjaguwar, the introspective folkie is set to release the new Blood Bank EP on January 20th here in North America, and a day earlier in the UK.

And what will it sound like? Well, according to Jagjaguwar: "As much as For Emma, Forever Ago is about the cold, the Blood Bank collection is about the warmth that gets you through it.”

Along with a CD version, the four-track release will come pressed on download-coupon-sporting twelve-inch vinyl, which Vernon will be selling pre-release date during his upcoming winter tour. And despite there being no stops planned for Canada, fans will have a shot to see Bon Iver on Letterman sometime around December 11, the date when Vernon will be taping a performance for the show.

Now, here is the tracklisting for Bon Iver’s Blood Bank, as well as the upcoming tour dates:
