Published Aug 18, 2011With Bon Iver still riding high from his much-loved new self-titled album, Justin Vernon and co. have treated us to a new music vid. It's for the album track "Holocene" and is set in the frigid yet beautiful Iceland.
Speaking to National Geographic, director Nabil Elderkin had this to say about his choice of setting: "[Iceland] is the most magical place in the world. It looked like Mars to me, so I always wanted to shoot there. When Bon Iver gave me the reins on this video, I knew it had to be filmed there."
