Today (June 19), Bon Iver's seven-song iTunes Session was released digitally. In case you were wondering whether it was worth purchasing, here's a little preview of the collection in the form of the opening track, "Beth/Rest."
The version here is relatively similar to the one that closed last year's Bon Iver, Bon Iver. It's got the same schmaltz-pop keyboards, soft-rocking guitar and quietly noodling horns, although this version is a little longer and the jam during the outro builds to a more cathartic crescendo.
